Will my windows XP backup operating system work on another computer?
I bought a custom built computer and it came with windows xp preinstalled, but it came with a backup cd to reinstall windows if i needed to. Can I use this cd to install windows on another computer (mac w/ bootcamp)

yes. if you bought it from someone and not a company like dell or hp then it will work. companies worry about those things for some reason.
If it was made by HP or Dell it WON’T work it was meant to access the recovery drive on your computer only it dosn’t have the OS on it.
PS. If the recovery drive on the computer the disc came with is erased the backup disc won’t work
