file backup help????????? ((expert advice needed))?
okay, i got my new western digital 1 tb external hard drive. and i’ve just formatted it to NTFS. and i didn’t install the software that came with the hard drive. i use norton 360. so i want norton 360 to backup all my files. and also if i drag and drop my files. and then set up the backup option, would it store the files twice? i mean the ones i stored and the ones that will be stored by norton? or, will norton backup only the files that i haven’t drag and dropped?
in case if you must know i use windows vista 64 bit os……….
Why don’t you perform a small test one a handful of files?
I would think if the files are already there, and they are identical, Norton wouldn’t touch them.
