What is the best way to backup/save my cell’s phone book from its SIM card?
My Cellular Phone’s Phone Book List is saved to the SIM card. I want to know what is the best device or methods available to backup this data and then restore it to a new SIM card whenever I need to. I have seen some really cheap products out there in the online shopping sites. I need durable high quality equipment that won’t break the bank. If anyone knows please reply. Thanks!
in most phones, you can copy the phone list. in some, you can directly copy to phone or sim. but if you cant, you will automatically double of each, so manually change it to phone or sim.
I didn’t know that could be done without having the carrier do it.
If you want to backup the SIM card to the phone, then you can use the phone’s copy menu, and copy everything to the phone.
Otherwise, eBay sells SIM card readers that come with simple programs that can save them in file form on your PC. I have seen them as low as $10 – $15.
